XMas Game Fest: Official Structure
The time is coming.
From December 11th to 22th, we are about to amplify the excitement for the holiday season with the XMas Game Fest, the unique competition with protagonists the biggest NFT projects on WAX, offered by AtomicHub, Wombat, and powered by Intraverse!
How will the rounds be structured?
The XMas Game Fest unfolds over four competitive rounds, anticipated by a warm-up session. Here, a breakdown of the gaming journey:
Warm-Up
- Date: December 11–12th.
- No Elimination.
Round 1
- Date: December 13–14–15th.
- Top 8 projects move to Round 2.
Round 2
- Date: December 17–18th.
- Top 4 projects move to Round 3.
Round 3
- Date: December 19–20th.
- Top 2 projects move to Round 4.
Round 4
- Date: December 21st-22nd.
- First project will be the winner of the first edition of XMas Game Fest.
Each day offers three playing windows of 3 hours each, with an additional hour for XMas Game Pass and Intraverse Galaxy Pass holders at the end of each session.
- Session 1: 6PM — 9PM CET
- Session 2: 2 AM — 5AM CET
- Session 3: 10AM — 1PM CET
In each round you can get points by fighting in 1vs1 battles in a street-fighter style (PvE mode), by submitting social quests and special quizzes, and by playing new experiences in partners’ gaming platforms.
How to earn points?
- Fighting in 1vs1 battles in a street-fighter style (PvE mode).
- Submitting social quests and special quizzes.
- Playing new experiences in partners’ gaming platforms.
- Bringing friends to experience the gameplay.
How does the score system work?
You have the possibility to select among three different gaming modes, each of them will allow you to get an increasing amount of points.
- Easy Mode: 1 Point.
- Normal Mode: 2 Points — Unlock at 1000 points.
- Hard Mode: 3 Points — Unlock at 2000 points.
Additionally, a system of multipliers will allow you to get higher scores, in particular:
- Owning an NFT of the chosen project → 4x
- Owning Intraverse Galaxy Pass or XMas Game Pass → up to 7x

What is the Referral Board?
A new feature has been unlocked to enhance your experience!
Now, you can additionally get up to 300 USD in liquid tokens by climbing the Referral Board. This is a new leaderboard where players can enter by bringing their friends into the tournament and by involving them actively in the competition.
As your friend will earn points in the main leaderboard, your score in the Referral Board will automatically increase. Please, don’t make fake accounts or use the same wallet: if you break this rule, you’ll be banned, and your NFTs won’t work in the tournament anymore.
How is the prize pot distributed?
Prize pot will be huge: OVER 10,000$ in NFTs and liquid tokens will be distributed among the top players of each project round by round. The better your positioning in the leaderboard, the bigger your portion of the prize pot. In particular:
Warm-Up
- 1000$ in NFTs
- 200$ in liquid tokens to referral board
Round 1
- 2000$ (1600$ in NFTs + 400$ in liquid tokens)
- 375$ in liquid tokens to referral board
Round 2
- 2000$ (1600$ in NFTs + 400$ in liquid tokens)
- 375$ to referral board (300$ in liquid tokens + 75$ in NFTs)
Round 3
- 2000$ (1200$ in NFTs + 800$ in liquid tokens)
- 375$ to referral board (300$ in liquid tokens + 75$ in NFTs)
Round 4
- 2000$ (1000$ in NFTs + 1000$ in liquid tokens)
- 375$ to referral board (300$ in liquid tokens + 75$ in NFTs)
Plus, the founders of TOP 3 projects of XMas Game Fest will win, respectively 500$, 300$ and 200$ in liquid tokens!
