As of September 10th, it has officially been 3 months since the launch of WaxDAO.io

What began as a simple WAX token creator has evolved into so much more. This article will cover most of the developments that have taken place over the past 3 months.

NFT Farms

WaxDAO NFT farms allow projects to create a staking system for their token. Prior to WaxDAO, this product was only available to large projects with big bankrolls. Small creators were left behind, and unable to create utility for their projects.

This problem has been solved by WaxDAO. Now, any project can create a staking system for as little as $10. Simply fill out the farm creation form, and have your NFT staking system up and running within minutes.

Single Sided Staking

Similar to NFT farming, token staking was also unavailable to small creators for a long time. Now, projects can create an LP farm, or a single sided staking system for their utility token.

Just like NFT farms, the cost is as little as $10 — and can be set up within minutes.

Pre-Minted Pack Creator

WaxDAO is pleased to announce that we have launched our own pre-minted pack creator. It is absolutely free to use. All you need to do is set up one or more pre-minted NFT pools, then link your pack template to the pool(s).

Pack holders will be able to go to your custom pack-unboxing page and open their pre-minted NFT packs. One exciting feature that we’ve added, is the option to add NFTs from any collection into your NFT packs- not just your own collection.

Super Blender

This is one of the most exciting developments of all. The WaxDAO Super Blender.

For only 109 WAX, users are able to set up advanced blending options for their project. For example, you could set up a blend that requires someone to send in 1 NFT from your collection, 2 NFTs from another collection, and 3 WAXP tokens.

In exchange, you could send them back 2.5 BTK tokens, 1 pre-minted NFT, 2 mint-on-demand NFTs with custom mutable attributes, etc.

This is just one example of the many advanced things you can do with our Super Blender.

Wax NFT Drops

We have recently launched our NFT marketplace, where anyone can create Wax NFT drops for ANY token they want. That includes your own custom token that you created on WaxDAO.

Simply go to the Create NFT Drop page and fill out the form. Enter which Wax token you want to accept, and submit the drop details.

As of right now, there is no secondary NFT market on WaxDAO — just drops. But, this will change in the future.

New UI

One of the things that we really wanted to improve on since our launch, was the user interface. We have recently gone through an extensive UI overhaul, and redesigned the entire website.

Our first prioirity was functionality, but we also recognize the importance of looking professional. This is why we’ve made it a big priority to enhance the UI in as many ways as possible, including…

The New WaxDAO Wallet Release

Previously, managing all of your different products on WaxDAO was a bit of a pain. You had to navigate your way around the website and find each separate product, then figure out how to do what you wanted.

Introducing the WaxDAO Wallet

Users now have access to an advanced control panel, where they can manage everything in one place. It is still a work in progress and is constantly being improved, but it’s already lightyears ahead of the previous system.

A couple features worth noting are:

• See which of your NFTs are stakeable in WaxDAO NFT farms
• Stake and unstake Wax tokens right from your wallet
• Burn Wojak NFTs to get whitelisted for our super blender and token creator
• Manage your RAM balances for your NFT collections, drops, and super blender
• Deposit and withdraw fungible tokens to the super blender
• Manage your NFT farms and staking pools, and much more!

Roadmap

As far as (near) future plans, here are a few of the items on our list…

Version 2 Farms

v2 of our NFT farms will bring many long awaited features. Including the ability to add multiple reward tokens, different staking amounts for different templates, and so much more. We expect to launch this in the next 30–60 days.

Version 2 Pools

Token staking pools will also be getting some upgrades — including auto-compounding options, multiple reward tokens per pool, and some other things as well.

More UI Features

The UI will continue to be upgraded as time goes by. There will be new market pages coming, including collection pages, asset pages, schema pages, user profiles and more.

Add Features To Super Blender

Since launching our super blender, we have had many requests for new features. Some of these are easier than others, so we can’t guarantee that all of them will be implemented. But, some of them definitely will — including more custom options for handling attributes of ingredients and blend results.
