Everything new in Dungeon Master Season 11
Hello, Dungeoneers!
Season 11 is upon us, and it’s going to see quite a lot of small tweaks and changes. There will also be new mechanics concerning new players and clans. Let’s take a closer look!
Mining Power
Following reports on Alien Worlds bots exploiting the game with free and low-cost NFTs, we decided to remove separate templates from the roster. Those include all items with the “Abundant” rarity, along with “Quartz of the Deep” and “Nature’s Growth”.
Perk for Clans & new players
Last season, the Overlord suggested additional benefits for the top 15 clans. The community supported this proposal — hence, we will introduce a Victory Wombatium NFT for the members of these clans. This Wombatium will have a mining power of 500. You can see the top clans by points collected here.
Along with the most accomplished players, we also want to make the game more rewarding for new players. Starting from Season 11, new players will get a contribution boost in thresholds for when they reach levels 5, 10, 15 and 20. As they play the game more actively, this boost will decrease.
$WOMBAT token in Dungeon Master
The token bonus has been quite a success — and we have all of you to thank for hitting the contribution levels every day! Having monitored it for a bit now, we noticed this needed adjustment to align with our token distribution better. Hence, we will raise the contribution threshold from 35 thousand to 45 thousand.
In parallel, we will also be expanding the token utility in the game. Certain items in the shop will require a small minting fee. You can see a detailed breakdown below.
Well of Wealth
The final and small update on the Well — we will remove the Gold Item Packs from rewards there from Season 11. But don’t worry, we’re working hard on adding other rewards there — after all, leaving you without awesome goodies is the last thing we want!
These are minor adjustments, but we will make sure they work towards the quality of life improvements and the overall betterment of our ecosystem. The biggest novelty is, of course, the Polygon integration — so make sure to stock up on our partner collections or our own Frontier Shards!
