All the new stuff waiting for you this week in Dungeon Master!
Dear Wombat family,
This season is another exciting period in Dungeon Master, and we’re happily presenting to you a whole bunch of new mechanics and items that we’re releasing this and next week.
Eta Edition packs & items
Today, we’re launching the new edition of packs along with a new set of items. Eta Edition packs are dropping today in the usual Basic, Diamond and Dark Matter packs along with Booster Boxes. Edition upgrade blends for Standard, Silver, Gold and Platinum Packs will be available using Elemental Wombatiums, as well; however, this time the daily chest will not update to the new edition during the season, but instead, we’ll keep Zeta Edition packs in the chest until the end of Season 11.
Eta Edition packs contain Set 5 items — the boosts of these items are limited to the three most essential boosts in Speed, XP and Contribution. Check out the boosts on the Learn More page here.
Level 6 items
Set 5 items can be upgraded up to level 6 for the first time. Level 6 blends are also available as “4-become-1” blends and “3+X become 1” blends; however, level 6 Mythics will require an Elephant Wombatium in the 3+X instead of the regular Dragon Wombatium.
New Wombatiums
We’re introducing a new set of Wombatiums which will be used for the new mechanics:
- Elephant Wombatium: 2500 MP; used for the level 6 Mythics, can be found in Eta Edition packs
- Paper Wombatium: 300 MP; used in the Phoenix Wombatium blend, can be blended from a Water and 2 Elemental Wombatiums
- Spicy Wombatium: 1000 MP; used in the Phoenix Wombatium blend, can be purchased in the Shop for 5000 Uranium, 10k Iron, and 20k Coal (plus 50 WOMBAT minting fee)
- Phoenix Wombatium: 3000 MP; used to blend Rhodium Packs, see below
- Air Wombatium: 50 MP; for staking only, will be available in Starter packs
Rhodium Packs
Which metal is even scarcer and more valuable than Platinum? Right, Rhodium! We’re introducing the new Rhodium Pack with a bunch of cool characteristics:
- 8 items
- 15k MP
- Contains only Mythics
- Has a guaranteed Elephant Wombatium
Rhodium Packs require 3 Platinum Packs and 1 Phoenix Wombatium to be blended. As opposed to Platinum Packs, no level 5 commons are needed.
New Polygon NFTs
We’ve something big brewing when it comes to NFTs on Polygon. We’ll have the first version of our Refundable NFTs ready this week, right in time for the mid-season update. Stay tuned!
